Thanks to the attachment, you can easily precisely sand the edges of boards, countertops, cutting boards and all other things with a flat surface and narrow edges at a 90-degree angle. This solves the problem of edge rounding when sanding edges by hand. Additionally, thanks to the possibility of attaching the attachment with the sander to the table, you can create a benchtop sander, allowing for reliable and safe sanding of small elements that otherwise have to be processed manually. It is made of strong and durable material resistant to deformation, and all metal elements are made of stainless steel. All this makes this attachment an absolutely indispensable element of equipment for every workshop, both for an amateur hobbyist and a professional carpentry workshop. How to use the guide: - The guide is designed for a specific sander model - before purchasing, make sure it fits yours! If we don't offer an attachment for your sander, let us know - we'll see what we can do :) - Install the sander in the guide and tighten the knobs firmly so that the sander does not move. Please note that some sandetr models have rubberized elements, so before use, check whether the tool disc is at a right angle to the guide plane and, if necessary, correct the position of the sander. - The tool is ready to use - holding the sander with one hand, press the guide with the other to the surface of the worktop (board, glulam) and, running it along the edge, sand the edge at a right angle. Ready! - Remember that you need to use both hands for best results! The entire set does not stay on the countertop itself. NOTE - the guide is not intended to joint the edges at a right angle, but only to facilitate sanding without rounding the corners! Converting the guide into a benchtop sander: - Using the mountings included in the set, you can turn your hand held sander into a benchtop version! To do this, with the sander already mounted in the attachment, insert the fastening elements on both sides into the recesses intended for this purpose and press the whole thing to the table with clamps or screws (holes in the thinner part of the fastening elements). - Using the guide plane as a support, safely sand small elements as on a stationary sander, without the risk of tearing the element out of your hand. This solution not only ensures greater work safety, but also much greater precision. - You can also permanently attach the whole thing with screws, using additional holes located in the thicker part of the fastening elements. This must be done before mounting the sander in the attachment. This ensures even more stable operation.
