They are well known for their traditional methods of vegetable tanning with tree barks that go back 100's of years. Walpier is a member of the exclusive Pelle Vegetale Consortium certifying they tan leather using the strict traditional vegetal methods. We offer serialized certification tags you can attach to your finished products HERE Skull Veg tan brings a perfect darkness to your projects. It has a faded skull combined with caviar embossed texture for a truly unique article. Colors come in a black base with colored skulls. The temper is firm from the print and gives a nice rigidity and structure to your products. The cut is a double shoulder with high yield and almost no waste. This is a fun limited edition article that is bound to make some unique projects! MADE IN ITALY 🇮🇹 DIMENSIONS Please note: The pattern of skulls on the leather may vary in orientation per the panel. 1/4 Hide: average 3-4 square feet (approx 20 x 24") Panel: 1 square feet (approx 7 x 20.5 inches) Panel: 2 square feet (approx 2 x 24 inches) 1/4 Hide: 3-4+ square feet (approx 18 x 24 inches) Please note every hide is unique and dimensions are just an approximation. Panels can be anywhere from 1-6" different in any direction with usually 1 non square edge. See "Cutting Method" in gallery. Please note 1/4 hides have a yield of 85% Please note Panels are near flawless - yield is 90%+ defect free and the defects are near the edge to more easily work around.
