This entrance lock uses a 54mm diameter cut-out at a backset of 60/70mm from the door edge and requires the door thickness to be between 35-55mm. The product is suitable for DIY installation on doors that already have a suitable cut-out and requires an additional mounting hole to be drilled above the main cut-out. The product is not designed for DIY replacement of mortise or rim locks, and professional installation is recommended for new doors. Installation videos are available on the Grid Connect website.
