Inspired by a visit to Greece, artist Patrick St. Germain's "Athenes" embraces the beauty of chaos. Created on a recycled painting, layers of acrylic paint, pastels and sand create an abstract field of expressive brushwork. "I came across ruins that were vandalized and destroyed by past wars.
