Benzyl acetone is an indispensable chemical for adding a fruity nuance to oud replacers or as a modifier to the much more delicate benzyl acetate. Benzyl acetone is very powerful and very small amounts are perceptible in a fragrance. This material is also a key component of the scent of cocoa and the most bee-attracting chemical in many flowers. Benzyl Acetone has nuances of tobacco, cinnamon, pineapple, banana and white flowers. NOTE: this product should not be confused with Benzyl Acetate, the common chemical used to reproduce the scent of jasmine and ylang-ylang.
