Both engines use seasoned GM 6.0L blocks that we have re-machined on our CNCs to far tighter than the original GM tolerances. In this boost ready build, we use a forged Callies Compstar center-counterweighted crank for additional strength and stiffness along with the same Manley H-beam rods. In this case, the Platinum Series pistons are switched from flat top to dish to complete the short block. This drops the compression ratio making it pump gas friendly under boost.The COMP hydraulic roller cam is designed for boost and brings maintenance-free operation. The exquisite CNC port work we do on the RHS aluminum heads provides great airflow. A FAST LSXR intake manifold can easily handle the intended boost and adds a great look to your engine. It's paired with a FAST Big Mouth throttle body assuring that this baby can get the air to those heads.This engine is rated at 600 hp without boost, as it giving up compression compared to its 645 hp rated, naturally-aspirated sibling. Externally, the two engines appear identical. The photoset and dyno video below are the NA version.
