Signet rings have been used in place of a signature since 3500 BC. Some of the most important documents in history have been stamped with a signet ring, as in its day the stamp of a ring was seen as more authentic than a signature. We’ve designed the Hogwarts Crest ring as a true signet - it can be used as a real wax seal to create an impression of the Hogwarts Crest. For finger sizes 5 through 7, the face of the signet ring measures just over 13 x 11mm. For finger sizes 7.5 and up, the face of the signet ring measures about 17 x 14.5mm. Our metal options include sterling silver and solid gold. All of our metals are nickel-free, and we use recycled metals whenever possible. All of our pieces are handcrafted by expert fine jewelers in our Seattle workshop.
