Large Anatolian Pot I

This classic example of the Anatolian water vessel was clearly meant to remain in place in a traditional home where it would have served as storage for grains or water. It is executed with the same inherited sense of scale and texture as other examples of this ancient craft. Today it makes for a dramatic decorative objet in its own right.
