Condition: Brand new old stock This custom Schlage Primus KIK cutaway is milled about as skeletal as a Primus cutaway can get without losing integrity, giving an unusually open view of the Primus mechanism, including the sidebar and finger pins. It ships with a custom, hand-milled "hotel key." This is a tried and true design. Jordan carries one on his own keys as a torture test, and it has held up for around two years of regular cycling. That said, do not pick this lock. It will cycle with the key and stay healthy for a very long time, but putting a pick in it can damage the exposed components. It is intended for display, mechanical study, and key cycling only. Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
