Hi there! My name is Anaïs, I'm Franco-Portuguese, originally from Paris, and I'm currently a French teacher at CEFET University in Rio. I love teaching, meeting new people, and speaking different languages (Portuguese, Spanish, and English). I'm passionate about traveling and photography. I have a huge love for cooking and food (I guess that’s my French side showing, haha). I got my start in teaching as an assistant to French teachers at the EOI (Escuela Oficial de Idiomas) in Guadalajara, Spain, working with classes ranging from A1 to C1 levels. After that, I spent two years as a school teacher. During my last year in my Master’s program focused on primary education, I had a mixed-level kindergarten class (small, medium, and large sections) where I taught about linguistic diversity and we learned to tell stories in multiple languages (Portuguese, Spanish, English, Arabic, Turkish, Sininké, Lingala, and Fulani). Now, I'm an assistant to French teachers at CEFET University in Rio de Janeiro, where I teach French to Brazilian students to prepare them for an academic mobility project in a French-speaking country.
