Winsor & Newton Traditional Stretched & Primed Deep Edge Cotton Canvas (Box of 3)

These classic cotton deep-edge canvases from Winsor & Newton are made from archival, acid-free 350gsm cloth, making them suitable for professional fine art work. They are available in a huge range of widths and lengths, to suit the requirements for every painting. A total of 38 different sizes (20 imperial sizes (from 4x6 inches to 48x60 inches) and 18 metric sizes (from 20x20cm to 100x150cm), with a depth of 1.37 inches, are available online now. They are primed with richly pigmented white Gesso, which gives the canvases enough tooth to have excellent responsiveness to brush strokes while also providing the ideal level of absorbency. All of the Winsor and Newton classic range canvases come pre-stretched by hand to an expert standard, but include wood keys allowing you to precisely control the level of tension across the canvas should you so wish. The canvases are backed with solid spruce wood, which has been kiln-dried to stop warping and protect against moisture.
