The ambidextrous on/off switch is easily reached; and a user-programmable strobe can be enabled for disorienting and confusing adversaries, or disabled when not needed. An integral rail clamp system securely attaches/detaches the unit with no tools to handguns with Glock-style rails and to all firearms with Picatinny rails. This weapon light comes with several keys, which are interchangeable to specific handguns, including Beretta®, and Smith &amp; Wesson®, by removing the nut on the side and slipping the new bracket key in its place. Machined aluminum sealed construction and C4® LED technology enables the Streamlight TLR-1 HL Tactical Light to withstand the recoil and abuse of being attached to a firearm for thousands of rounds.
