Sources of our bones: *No animals were killed for their bones.* Scavenged from nature, owl pellets, hit by a car or other accident, died naturally as a pet or farm animal, from vintage/estate collections, from pest control on farms, or were from vintage school/science specimens Wing sources: The wings come from a large variety of sources. We offer them all mixed together in order to give enough variety. Our sources include: butterflies found in nature that naturally passed or were hit by a vehicle (ones that I have found personally or from friends/family), vintage/estate collections (1970s-1990s), or from butterfly farms/conservatories.
