Large format frames/ framing for larger items such as murals, large prints/ canvases.
We can send up to 40" cut pieces of moulding for you to assemble at home. For lengths larger than 40", we will cut so that you can assemble lengths equal to the size you need. For example, if you have a mural with a 60" length, we would send you a 40" for the middle, and two 10" to join at 90 degree angles with the other sides.
Most frames on our website can be used for these large-format DIY projects.
Pricing is typically $1/ inch for length plus width. So a 30 x 30 DIY frame would cost $60 plus cost of shipping.
Frames/ framing longer than 40" would need to be assembled by nailing the individual pieces to the wall. Smaller than 40" we could drill for you to join with dovetail keys, which we would supply.

Wood Frame, custom made to your size specifications from vintage wood frame moulding. Moulding has been in storage for close to 50 years, so there are some natural defects here and there, but overall in excellent shape. This frame is hardwood and the color seems to have areas that have deglazed. Still a beautiful frame, but something to take into consideration before purchasing. Also, because glaze is a bit brittle, there is typically some chipping at the seams, however we will do our best to camouflage with a furniture marker.
Listing is for frame only, however plexi/ backing can be added at an additional cost.
