As a part of the linear collection, this abstract sculpture on canvas in smoky white brings a touch of minimalism and sophistication to any space. This 3D, rich-texture sculpture the perfect wall art to add to a space without over powering it. Made from fabric and plaster, each abstract canvas art piece is handcrafted and lovingly unique with varying highs and lows. I was inspired to create these pieces when looking for relaxing yet minimal art for my own home.
What is Wabi-Sabi?
Developed out of the aesthetic philosophy of cha-no-yu (the tea ceremony) in fifteenth-century Japan, wabi-sabi is an aesthetic that finds beauty in things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete.
