TIMEFRAME
Floral preservation is a slow art form and takes a great deal of time, attention and care. Due to the time and effort I put into each piece, I can only accept 4-5 commissions each month.
After I receive your florals they will be pressed for up to 4 months. After your flowers leave the press, it takes weeks to design the piece and adhere each petal, stem and leaf to the paper/glass. The current timeline is 9-10 months between your wedding date and delivery of the finished piece. I strive to get all artwork to my clients before their one year anniversary.
COLOR RETENTION
I do not color correct, dye or alter the flowers in any way. I prefer to keep the blooms 100% natural and use a traditional process of flower pressing. This means some flowers do not come out of the press the exact same color they went in. It’s likely the color of the petals may lighten or deepen. I personally enjoy this natural transformation :). If you want your flowers to look exactly as they did on your wedding, you’ll want to look into an artist who "color-corrects" flowers.
YOUR BOUQUET
For my deconstructed design style, bouquets that have a variety of colors, focal blooms, filler flowers and greenery are the best fit. Please avoid sending bouquets that have only one type of flower.
RETURNS/CANCELLATIONS
Deposits can be fully refunded if the order is cancelled 30 days in advance of the reserved date. The full amount of the final artwork is due once your flowers come out of the press and we determine size/background/etc. The piece must be paid in full before the design process begins.
Each custom piece is made to order especially for you. Ordering custom artwork is personal and leads to a one-of-a-kind design. As such, these personalized pieces are non-refundable.
