Lovely ivory taffeta and alencon lace wedding gown from 1980. No maker's label. Full skirt, that could certainly handle a pettycoat attaches with a pleated basque gather onto a drop waist bodice heavily appliqued with pearled and sequined alencon lace. Bustline is a sweetheart shape trimmed out in eyelash edged alencon. 1.25" wide straps sit wide on the shoulders. The back has a sheer lace panel, zipper and 16 decorative netted buttons. This fabric has such a pretty sheen. Itvreally makes for a beautiful train. Measurements: Bust- 38" Waist- 26" Hips- free Length from shoulder to hem- 58" Train on the floor- 36" There is a 1" seam allowance which enables this gown to expand by approximately 2" in the bust and waist down to the top of the hip.
