Roses are made by cutting, welding and bending 20ga steel sheet metal blanks to a 3/16” steel rod.
Tools Needed:
- Welding Equipment (MIG, TIG)
- Torch (propane or Map-pro Gas)
- Angle Grinder / Flap disk
- Needle Nose Pliers
Instructions:
1. Polish sheet metal blank using angle grinder and flap disk to remove any cutting dross and surface rust. In order to bring you the lowest possible price these are shipped without any post plasma cutting processing.
2. Cut out blanks by bending until joints break.
3. Use grinder to remove any sharp edges.
4. Weld petals to stem smallest to biggest. Bending/shaping each petal with heat as you go.
5. Weld on and shape leaves.
