Please note., the price shown is for ONE PAIR (2) Protectors. Following on from the success of my PSVR1 lens protectors, I am pleased to offer a new version for the PSVR2. These do not require any glue.. You simply slip them over the lens assembly on the PSVR2 and they give a lip of a few mm which your glasses will rest on, rather than the PSVR2 lenses. Luckily lens protection isn’t quite as important on the PSVR2 compared to the PSVR1 as the lenses are flatter and less likely to make contact with your glasses, but there is still a risk. They are 100% my design, created from scratch. They are 3D printed in PETG plastic and supplied in black. The plastic used is hard and will press against your glasses, but the material I use is softer than the lenses in your glasses, so is unlikely to do any damage.. But please be mindful of this when you order, as you need to understand how this type of lens protection works. For installation, they are ambidextrous so will go on either side.. But you need to orient them correctly and this should be pretty obvious as they match the shape of the PSVR2. lenses.. Finally, look at the sides where I have engraved some pointers. VR points towards the PSVR2. The icon of the Eye points to your face. If you have any questions, contact me before installing them. One final note about Eye tracking.. When i was working on my prototypes I found it difficult to calibrate the eye tracking.. But even when I took them off, it wasn't perfect.. I think that wearing glasses makes calibration difficult anyway and because the protectors push the headset away from your eyes a few mm, that doesn't help.. So what I am doing is either calibrating with my glasses off.. Or taking the protectors off when calibrating.. I am using them myself and have had no issues with eye tracking.. Only the calibration.
