Clean burning, sweet smelling beeswax candles were considered a luxury in Europe in the middle ages when most people had to rely on tallow to illuminate their homes. I add a small amount of non-toxic proprietary fragrance oil to my beeswax which may vary from batch to batch and candle to candle. The fragrance oils do not overpower but enhance and compliment the natural scent of the beeswax. I use only essential oils and fragrances which have been tested and certified to be safe.
Please be aware that this is a handmade candle and beeswax is natural product. There may be slight imperfections and the color can vary from a light butterscotch to deep amber. Exposure to UV rays can also cause the color to become pale over time.
Irregularly shaped decorative candles may not burn evenly or completely.
