This bevel cutter is a tool designed for work with clay. Use your bevel cutter on soft leather-hard to hard leather-hard clay slabs to bevel their edges. With this bevel cutter, you can angle the edges of your slabs at 30, 45 and 60 degrees. It can be used with and without the boosters. The tool itself is 3D printed with a wire cutting edge. These boosters will allow you to bevel the edge of a slab with a small portion of the edge left unbeveled. This can be useful for making a slightly beveled edge on a slab mug or dish. The boosters can be a bit stiff to slide in and out in the beginning but they will slide easier over time. If they stick, you can gently press the backside against a table to get it moving. The bevel cutter comes with the tool, 3 boosters and 2 cutting wires. This tool measures 4cm tall, 8.3cm wide and 1.5cm thick. This bevel cutter was designed, modeled and printed by me! These are printed with PLA filament and not intended for use with food. Because PLA is a biodegradable plastic, please avoid leaving these cutters in water, as eventually they will begin to degrade. Also avoid heat as it can warp or melt the plastic.
