Both Kits use the same module, wiring harness and programming method. The ONLY difference between the two kits is the button sequence you press on your OEM Key FOB. Both Kits are compatible with our Long Range Remotes and our App Module. Special NotesPlease note that we offer 2 variations of this kit, X3L (horn honk) and a LUL (no horn honk). Functionality is the exact same for both kits, however the activation button sequence is different between the two (see above)Climate settings are automatically set to "Last Setting". This means that where ever you left the climate controls when you exited the vehicle is what will kick on when you activate remote startOPTIONAL PARKING LIGHT WIRE CONNECTION - this wire will be needed for parking lights to illuminate during remote start mode. This wire is NOT needed for operation or programming. LOCK/UNLOCK WIRES - these wires will only need to be connected when using our Long Range Remote Kit or App Module. If you are not using either of these add-ons, then you will not need to connect the lock/unlock wires.
