To maintain harmony, ample plants or hiding places are recommended to mitigate aggression. Ideally, groups of 3 Pea Puffers or fewer are suitable for a 10-gallon tank, but they can also be kept individually without any issues. </p> <p><strong>Pea Puffer Fish tank mates?</strong></p> <p>It's generally advised to avoid placing them in a community setting due to the risk of fin-nipping, although some instances of successful cohabitation with Otocinclus catfish have been observed. However, we do not recommend keeping them with any type of shrimp.</p> <p><strong>What Do Pea Puffer Fish Eat?</strong></p> <p>To ensure their nutritional needs are met, we recommend feeding them a variety of live foods such as baby brine, daphnia, small shrimp, bloodworms, black worms, or scuds.
