Jade PVA "Thick" glue is a much thicker version of traditional Jade PVA. It dries quickly, but still allows some time for re-positioning. Used primarily in box making, such as along the edges of binder's board when gluing the sides of boxes to the base and for attaching the lid to the box. Also, thick glue can be used for glue along the spine of a text block when attaching spine reinforcement material. PVA Thick Glue is water soluble, archival, and remains flexible when dry. Image shows glue sizes of 5, 14, and 32 ounces.PVA Freeze Warning: The adhesive properties of PVA significantly diminish when it freezes. Therefore, during the winter months we try to monitor when we ship our PVA glues. If the weather is such that our glue shipments may be affected, we will hold your entire order until conditions allow us to ship. A tell-tale sign that your PVA was frozen is if the glue exhibits a chalky or cottage cheese like texture. If you can stir the glue and it smooths out, it should be fine. If not, it should be discarded. We suggest you do not order PVA glue during the winter months when you know the temperature may below freezing.
