<p>Meet Imori rope from Yale Cordage.</p> <p>While most 24 strand climbing ropes have moved towards the smaller diameter sizes lately, this rope does the opposite. The diameter is 11.7mm, but is designed to feel like a 13MM, so it is more in the range of classic 12 or 16 strand ropes.</p> <p>Yale Cordage has developed and incorporated a new type of taslanized (textured) fiber into the rope structure which provides bulk, and therefore an enhanced grip for better ergonomics. This fiber is blended with a 100% solution dyed filament polyester into the construction.
