Fits 1st Gen. USA Made Model 3 & Model Y Only. Model 3 2017-2024, Model Y 2020-2025 Pre Refreshed. This is a great replacement Airbag Cover if you have the white interior in your Model 3 or Y, or if you have our Alcantara interior upgrades. This also will remove the outdated chrome T on the airbag as each one comes with a satin black T. We install the satin black T as shown in the photos. You also may want to put a vinyl decal on the T to change the color as well. Here is a LINK to that decal. Installation: We offer Two Methods of Installation for this product. Permanent: For Permanent Installation, Simply cut the tabs that hold OEM Airbag Cover on. This means you will not be able to reinstall your OEM Cover. Temporary: For Temporary Installation, you will use the provided small black inserts to hold the tabs, while you remove your cover. This is in hopes you will maintain your OEM cover so you can reinstall it at a later date. This is a common installation method for those who are Leasing their vehicle. To install this you simply remove your airbag, then you have to remove the stock original TESLA cover. This can be removed easily, but it does take about 20 minutes to do.
