Mexican Oregano (Lippia gravolens) has a distinctly earthy flavour more similar to marjoram than the sweet Mediterranean oregano. Cooks particular about Mexican foods will insist; ‘keep the pizza spice outta my taco’. Please note: stock varies and will sometimes be leafier and finer, sometimes have more stems and be coarser.
