This exterior clear acrylic varnish dries to a transparent satin finish that enhances color depth while helping protect your painted surfaces from dirt buildup and everyday exposure. Applied as a final topcoat, it also helps preserve the look of acrylic artwork without obscuring brushwork or surface texture. Artists often use this varnish for outdoor murals, exterior acrylic paintings, and painted wood surfaces. It works exceedingly well as a varnish for outdoor murals and as an exterior varnish for acrylic paint projects when a protective satin finish is needed that dries permanently and is water-resistant. For best results, we recommend applying the varnish in thin, even coats with a soft brush. Two light coats create a consistent satin topcoat and help reduce the risk of cloudiness from overworking the surface.
