Most watches were made in the Soviet Union, but some were made in Russia in the early 1990s.  If you're looking for a neat mechanical watch with some interesting history, check out AP's Soviet Watch Grab Bag. This listing contains any and all Soviet or Russian watch brands from Raketa and Slava to Pobeda and Poljot. Most watches in this listing are mechanical, meaning it must be wound up every so often to keep the time. You're able to choose from watches with traditional leather bands or metal link bands. Since these watches are old Soviet or Russian manufacture we had them refurbished to make sure they'll function and keep accurate time. We've also had any rotten or poor condition bands replaced as needed. While they have been refurbished and checked for function, some will have minor scuffs, scratches and small imperfections. Watch Function Test: To test the function of your watch, please wind the watch all the way. If the hand still does not move, give it a gentle shake. There will not be any corrosion or blemishes on the watch face, but they may have some small scratches on the case. Used; Good watches will exhibit greater signs of use, with larger scratches and other signs of wear. Wear may also extend to the face itself.
