Strong and heavily branched, these intermediate-height snapdragons reach a mature size of 18 to 20 inches tall and 12 to 16 inches wide and bloom all summer long, often to first frost. Borne on sturdy, wind-resistant stems, the romantic open-faced double flowers appear in a mix of soft, dusky, warm colors, including appleblossom, crimson red, orange bicolor, peach, yellow. The long-lasting spikes make excellent cut flowers for floral arrangements. Left in the garden, the pollinator-friendly flowers attract bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other beneficial pollinators. F1 Antirrhinum majus varieties, commonly called snapdragons, DoubleShot Mix varieties have an upright, bushy habit.
