Anthurium Red Crystallinum is a special hybrid that features distinctive, velvety‑textured, heart‑shaped leaves with a reddish hue in emergent foliage and strong contrasting veins.  Water: Use a well‑draining but moisture‑retentive substrate, such as a mix of fine bark, peat or coco‑coir, and perlite or pumice. Water when the top part (roughly the top third) of the substrate begins to dry, but avoid letting the roots sit in standing water. Consistently soggy substrate can quickly lead to root rot. During winters, reduce watering frequency slightly as growth slows. Light: Provide bright filtered light, near an east or north‑east facing window is ideal. Some gentle morning sun or late afternoon sun, if diffused, is acceptable. Avoid strong direct midday sun, which may scorch the delicate leaves or fade the colour contrast. Insufficient light can result in weak growth and reduced leaf contrast. Humidity: This plant benefits from elevated humidity, ideally around 65‑85%. In indoor settings, you can achieve this by using a humidifier, growing in a cabinet or tent, placing the pot on a tray of damp pebbles (ensuring the base of the pot is not sitting in water), or grouping with other humidity‑loving plants.
