Trying to K swap a rear wheel drive vehicle that has a bulky front subframe in the middle of the engine bay? This oil pan system just might be for you! When we released this oil pan to K swap the 1984-1994 BMW 3 Series (E30) many years ago, we took inspiration from the BMW M engine, and designed a front sump oil pan so we could keep the engine as close as possible to the firewall. Zero chassis modifications are required, meaning the subframe, suspension, and even front sway bar can stay in the factory locations.
