Here's how to figure it out: Measure Your Overhang: Determine the depth of your countertop overhang from the front of your knee or pony wall. (e.g., 15 inches). Measure Your Wall Framing: Find the depth of your knee or pony wall framing (typically 4" to 6" for standard lumber). Calculate Total Required Depth: (Countertop Overhang Depth) + (Wall Framing Depth) Select Your Bracket Size: Subtract 4" from your Total Required Depth.
