With an alcohol content of 56.2% vol. and bottled in an elegant gift box (UK), this bottling marks the start of a limited series that impressively honors the heritage of the Speyside distillery Aberlour. This first edition of the Sherry Cask Collection has been designed to celebrate the deep connection between Aberlour and the finest sherry casks in Spain - a true masterpiece of artisan distilling. Unlike the classic A'Bunadh line, which is matured exclusively in first-fill Oloroso casks, this edition has been given a secondary maturation in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, giving it added complexity and remarkable depth. The Master Distiller will vary this concept for each future edition of the Sherry Cask Collection - always focusing on the transformative effect of sherry cask maturation. Naturally, it was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration and without coloring in order to preserve its authentic character and unadulterated aroma.
