The Herradura Ultra Cristalino tequila is based on the classic Herradura Anejo tequila. This Anejo tequila is carefully combined with high-quality Extra Anejo from Herradura, which has been matured for up to 49 months in American white oak barrels. <p> </p> <p>A delicate addition of sweet agave nectar refines the flavor profile before the blend is passed through a filtration process to achieve the characteristic clear and transparent color. </p> <p>The unique production method, which removes the color from the distillate, is commonly known as "Cristalino" or "crystal tequila", although this term is not yet officially assigned to any category. </p>
