Adam: I was inspired for this bass by the department store models of the 1960s - particularly Kay and Silvertone. I’ve always loved the “almost ugly” cosmetic appointments they frequently had, like gratuitous Pearloid and tortoise shell celluloid, and Dynasonic pickups are a favorite of mine as well.
