Inspired by architectural structures and natural forms, Ahn’s work transforms the cool rigidity of silver into refined, tactile pieces designed to harmonize with daily life.[Description] is a silver teapot that expresses jeong (靜), a Korean sense of composed stillness shaped by tension and order.Inspired by the elegant curves of the traditional Korean dawan (tea canister), the piece introduces a vertical handle that adds structural tension and refined proportion. The soft sheen of silver contrasts with the linear clarity of stainless steel, creating a calm yet deliberate interplay of material and light.The work is crafted using traditional raising and sheet-metal forming techniques. The stainless-steel handle ensures structural stability while providing effective thermal insulation for practical use.
