*** Very limited, BETA TEST batch *** TK SWITCH is the transformer of "pens". Fully custom from top to bottom, made by Brad in his garage. Brad has showed the whole prototyping process in his stories. Just a simple refill swap to go from PEN to PENCIL with no modification needed. Here are the links to the refills. Ink Refill Pencil Refill There are also many colors available for the Ink, just search around. Supported refills: Fisher Space Ink Refill SPR4 Schmidt DSM 2006 (0.5mm & 0.7mm) No other refills tested, if you find one that works, let Brad know! TK SWITCH COMES WITH THE SPRING; but no ink or pencil cartridge is provided, as there are just too many different colors. If you chose to make this a pencil, you don't need the spring, just discard (Throw in the kitchen drawer) Play with the button setting when using the pencil refill, you may find it works better on one setting or the other. The button has 2 tracks, one to Extend the refill, and one to Retract the refill, Just play around with it. Don't force anything. The body is made of Stonewashed Titanium (pre-worn look), and the Tip and Clicker are made of Brass. Brad has put a lot of time and effort into this, completely designing the click mechanism from the ground up. Which is the reason this is a BETA TEST and only $60.  If you have an issue with your mechanism, message Brad on Instagram and he will work with you to get the issue resolved. You are after all helping Brad make one of the greatest pen/pencil combos available. (Actually is there even another pen that can do this?) The button can be taken apart very easily, however there is a 1/32" ball bearing inside it that can be lost instantly. The button is greased to help with lubrication but also to help the ball stay in the housing upon assembly/disassembly. The goal of this BETA test is to find any issues with longevity, does it break-in and get smoother? Does dirt get inside the button and cause it to lock up?  Each use case is different, so real world testing is the best way.
