This version of the Cold Shoe Mounting Bracket is 1” longer than the original bracket to provide extra room for mounting accessories to larger camcorders (e.g., JVC, RCA, Sony VX series, and Canon GL/XL series). Please reference the sizing guide to determine which size bracket is best for your camcorder. Looking to mount accessories to a camcorder that doesn't have a hot shoe or cold shoe? This mounting bracket screws into the bottom of your camcorder using the included metal 1/4”-20 screw and features a traditional cold shoe that you can use to mount microphones, lights, and ImmersionRC Powerplay mounts.
