The downside of brushed leather is that it does not naturally have good color development, but by modifying the chrome tanning technique, the color development has been improved, resulting in a deep color. The lining is made of lightweight, smooth silk taffeta with a fibrillated surface created by washing. The ribbing is made from tightly knit soft wool yarn with a cashmere blend.
