This piece has a diameter of 6cm, and can be gently opened and tightened to fit all wrist sizes. It is made from pure 925 sterling silver, coated with 2 microns of 22k gold vermeil. Gold vermeil is a thicker coating of solid 22k gold over pure 925 sterling silver, ensuring longer durability for the wearer than gold plated jewellery. It is inlayed with Lapis Lazuli, Garnet, and Pearl stones. Inside this cuff is etched with an inscription in Persian, the native language of Rumi the poet, with a line from one of his poems which says “through love thorns become roses." A reminder to embrace and nourish even the hardest parts of ourselves and this life, and through that nurturing watch the wound heal into something beautiful.
