Artist Mike Kelley (1954–2012) is widely acknowledged for his influential contributions to the art world since the 1970s, drawing inspiration from spirituality and heavy metal to Superman comics, pop- and sub-culture. Until September 8, K21—Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf presents “Mike Kelley. Ghost and Spirit” as a major retrospective.
