TRACKS QUILTED JACKET - BLACK FLYWEIGHT NYLON RIPSTOP

When we started 18 East, our manufacturing partners in Jaipur mostly made lightweight cotton kurtas and dresses.  This is where we are now.  Through trial, error and extensive wear-testing, our technical pieces have been steadily advancing each season.     Cut from a featherweight 48gsm windproof and water-repellent nylon ripstop, the Tracks jacket represents a substantial step forward for us in construction, material composition and overall performance.  Filled with Thermore EcoDown (a recycled down alternative made from 100% post consumer plastic bottles) it wears lighter than our previous fills and better mimics down's ease of mobility.  It's also water repellent and guaranteed not to poke through the shell fabric.  The abstract "tracks" quilting pattern (always better to follow your own) is like nothing you'll find from mainstream outdoor brands.  Other features of note include a two-way, waterproof YKK zip at the center front, large zip closure storage pockets on the inside and a hand-carved wooden lotus bead at the side zipper pull. Proudly made in India. These run on the relaxed side of true to size. We recommend taking your normal alpha size.
