Louis De Guzman In Between the Lines statue

Filipino American artist Louis De Guzman’s new In Between The Lines sculpture expands his personal and artistic exploration of wading through and rising above chaos. The striking piece features an empowered fist surrounded by colorful geometric fragments that are the essential elements of the artist’s signature aesthetic. Below the chaotic fragments, a sense of order seems to flow from what would be the forearm. Arcs and spans of color gather and form into the first that rests above. Purpose pushes and perhaps controls the chaos that challenges order. In Between The Lines will be available in two editions and materials: a 10″ full-color vinyl edition (Edition of 300) and a 20″ fine art multiple edition in white Statutario Italian marble (Inquiry Only). While both feature the same form, the marble edition allows for a more abstract experience without the guidance of the colors.
