Adult Skateboarding Clinic CAMPS AND CLINICS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE This Skateboarding Clinic is strictly for adults. Whether you are brand new to skateboarding, returning after some time away, or simply looking to improve your skills, we have you covered. Riders will be split into small groups based on experience. Each week, groups will rotate through different zones of the skatepark and work with a different instructor in each area. Our goal is to help you progress, stay safe, and have fun. We are a team of lifelong skateboarders with over 20 years of teaching experience. What to Bring & Important Guidelines We are committed to providing the best instructional skateboarding experience possible. To help ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time, please review the following: 1. Skateboard Requirements Please bring a real, functioning skateboard that rolls smoothly and turns properly.Boards purchased at skateshops or other specialty action sports stores are typically great. Boards purchased at big-box discount stores, general sporting goods stores, or many Amazon sellers tend to perform poorly. These low-quality boards make it much harder to learn and often lead riders—kids and adults—to feel discouraged or think they lack ability, when the true issue is the equipment. 2. Safety Gear Helmets and full pads are highly recommended. Full pads include knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards. In our experience, riders who wear full pads: Progress at a much faster rate Sustain fewer injuries Have a more enjoyable overall experience Skateboarding is physical, and falling is part of the process—so it’s always best to be protected. 3. Clothing & Shoes Please wear pants or tall socks. Closed-toe athletic shoes are required. 4. Waiver Please take a few minutes to complete a new waiver, even if you believe you already have one on file.This makes check-in much smoother so we can get to the fun part—riding—as quickly as possible.
