It is NOT designed to be used for cutting thick slabs of rough rock or glass. If cutting glass, please do not cut thicker than 9mm (3 layers) of glass.  Go slow!</p> <p data-mce-fragment="1">If you are looking to cut thick slabs of rocks and glass, we suggest a fixed-blade saw machine such as the Hi-Tech Diamond 6" Trim saw or Hi-Tech Diamond 10" Slab saw instead of this band saw machine.</p>
