Alexandre Hand-Glazed Ceramic Tall Stand

In Astier de Villatte’s Alexandre collection, deceptively simple forms are molded and shaped by the hands of artisans in Paris. The defining feature of this series is the three-dimensional motif added to each piece. It’s modeled after an aged imprint of founder Benoît’s brother, Alexandre, which was found in the attic of his father, Pierre Carron. On this stand, it forms a textural rim, emerging from the glazed clay as if it's breaking free.
