Each creation, crafted by the finest artisans in Nepal, takes between 36 and 50 hours to weave. They work with hand-powered traditional jacquard looms that are hand-built for each piece – this is how they achieve no seam and such a notable width. To make this 4-ply cashmere blanket, a weaver must manually push the pedals to open the shaft and draft; as a result, the design is determined entirely by the rhythm of this motion.
