Trail Cardamom Slipware Jug

To own a piece of handcrafted Fitch & McAndrew pottery is to peek through time itself—the design duo is dedicated to the art of slip decoration, first attributed to some of humanity’s earliest civilizations. To create each handmade piece, a liquid clay and mineral mixture—the slip—is applied to the pottery during its leather-hard stage, resulting in a painterly effect after firing. This pitcher hosts a bouquet of plump cardamom flowers, a folkloric take on Fitch & McAndrew’s love of nature.
