They are a cave dwelling fish that clings close to the reef wall. They are peaceful and may be cryptic at first, but will become more outgoing as it establishes itself in the tank. Swissguard Basslets are endemic to the Caribbean and are one of the most prized species of basslet. They exhibit a light-pink body with red horizontal stripes. Caution should be taken with other basslets or grammas as they will fight.
